PLES Family Forecast: November 2–6
This week, our school community will gather for our Remembrance Day Assembly and continue celebrating kindness throughout PLES.
Remembrance Day Assembly
Our Remembrance Day Assembly will take place on Wednesday, November 4, at 10:40 a.m. Families are welcome to attend.
Students who belong to Cubs, Scouts, Guides, Cadets, or another uniformed organization are invited to wear their uniforms to school that day. Together, we will honour those who have served and reflect on the importance of peace, kindness, and caring for one another.
Random Acts of Kindness
Our Random Acts of Kindness Trees will soon begin to bloom. Staff are recognizing students who demonstrate kindness and helpfulness by adding leaves to our trees. We look forward to watching the trees grow as our students continue making a positive difference in our school.
PLES School Clothing
The PLES online clothing store closes on November 4 at 11:59 p.m. Families can select free delivery to the school at checkout. Orders should arrive approximately two to four weeks after the sale closes.

- November 2: Remembrance Day photo submission deadline
- November 2: SAC/PTO meetings are postponed
- November 4: Remembrance Day Assembly and school clothing order deadline
- November 8: Indigenous Veterans Day
- November 11: Remembrance Day, no school
- November 20: Assessment Day, no classes for students
Dress for the Weather
Students will continue going outside for recess, lunch, and outdoor learning whenever conditions allow. Please send warm coats, hats, mittens or gloves, and appropriate footwear each day.
