Principal’s Message

Hello PLES Families,

Spring has arrived, bringing a mix of snow, ice, mud, water, and warmer temperatures. Dressing in layers helps students regulate their body temperature, and having a change of clothes is always a good idea—especially with puddles and mud around.

We’re excited for a special day on Thursday: Primary to Grade 2 students will enjoy a special morning event at school, while Grades 3–6 head out for their skating trip.

Thank you to our staff for creating fun, engaging opportunities for our students.

Have a safe and restful March Break. We look forward to seeing everyone back on Monday, March 23.

Reminders for the Gr 3-6 Skating trip:

• Students should bring water and snacks for the trip.  We’ll be eating when we return to school.  Arrangements have been made for the hot lunches to be ready when we return to school.
• Please label helmets and skates.   If you have any extra skates, please email us at ples@hrce.ca
• Chaperones, meet the school at the rink at 9:50 am

PLES Student Well-being Survey

We are conducting a well-being survey with families and staff to decide what we want to focus on over the third term of the - school year around the area of well-being. Please take a moment to fill out our survey.  Click the link here.

PLES FAMILY BINGO NEW DATE!!  FRIDAY APRIL 10th  

THE new date for our BINGO is FRIDAY April 10th.  Please join us for an all-ages evening of fun and prizes.  There will also be a canteen with snacks and drinks.   We have collected a lot of great prizes but still have some needs.  We’ll be sending out an updated list through classroom teachers.
