Principal’s Message

Hello PLES Families,

Last week’s Olympics assembly was a great success. It was led by our Grade 5 and 6 students, and many classes had the opportunity to share information about their chosen Olympic countries.

The Winter Olympics Field Day was a highlight with our Grade 6 students running the stations. They demonstrated excellent leadership and responsibility throughout the day.

You may receive a call or email regarding student absences or late arrivals this week (or may have already). We are checking in to offer support where needed, as our goal is for all students to be at school on time and ready to learn.

Valentine’s Day is coming up on Friday, February 14. Classes may be doing activities related to this, so please watch for communication from your child’s classroom teacher.

PLES FAMILY BINGO: MARK YOUR CALENDARS! 

PLES is hosting a new school event; the PLES PTO will be hosting Bingo Night!   Please join us for an all-ages evening of fun and prizes. There will also be a canteen with snacks and drinks.  Bingo Night is Thursday March 5th, 6:30-7:45pm.  Keep your eyes out for a notice later this week, we are asking for some help from families to put together our prize baskets. 

Parent Information Meeting – Students Entering Grade 7 (2026–2027)

Families of students entering Grade 7 at Eastern Shore Consolidated School in September 2026 are invited to attend a Parent Information Meeting.

The session will take place on Wednesday, February 25 at 6:00 PM
