Principal’s Message
Hello PLES Families,
It’s hard to believe we have just five weeks of school remaining. We are looking ahead to a wonderful stretch to finish the year strong, with many activities and learning experiences planned for our students.
The recent sunny weather has had a very positive impact on our school, and it has been great to see more outdoor learning taking place throughout the day.
We have noticed an increase in toys being brought to school. This is a reminder that students should take care with personal items, as they can sometimes be lost or broken.
Over the coming weeks, we will also be continuing our planning for next year, including confirming staffing and student numbers.

Reminders from the school:
- You can now order school lunches for May 31 to June 13. Ordering for these dates must be completed before 12:00p.m. on Wednesday, May 27. Late orders cannot be accepted. Order Now https://hrce.nslunch.ca/
- A message from Ms. Bowlby in the Library: Please help your child to remember their library books on library day. Students have library period every week, and borrow books for 1 week at a time. As we get closer to the end of the school year, it is important to return library books on time. Last Library class visits to borrow books - June 9 and 10. Last library class visits - June 16 and 17 ( no borrowing, just in library reading).

- Water bottles reminder: Please ensure your child brings a water bottle to school each day. We are no longer providing disposable cups from the office.
