Dear PLES Families,
We’d like to share two important updates with you:
Remembrance Day Assembly – Friday, November 7 at 12:30 p.m.
We warmly invite families to join us for our Remembrance Day Assembly. Students are encouraged to wear uniforms from Scouts, Guides, or Cadets on this day. We especially welcome veterans and current members of the Armed Forces, RCMP, and Fire Department to attend.
As part of the assembly, we are preparing a slideshow to honour family and friends who have served or are currently serving. If you would like to contribute, please send photos to Meghan.Doucette@hrce.ca by Monday, November 4. Be sure to include the child(ren)’s name, their relation to the service member, and the service member’s name and title.
Heating Update
Our school is currently experiencing limited heating. Work is currently being done to fix the issue. In the meantime, we suggest that students come to school dressed warmly and in layers to ensure their comfort throughout the day.
